Pregnancy Massage
Expecting mothers go through constant bodily changes during pregnancy. A pregnancy massage can help relieve discomforts, including low back, hip, neck and shoulder pain. Massage during pregnancy can also reduce stress, increase mobility and circulation, lower anxiety, and improve sleep immensely! During the first trimester it is not recommended to get a massage, due to the risk of a miscarriage. Some people argue that massage during pregnancy will not cause a miscarriage, and there is no evidence for either side of this argument. However, it is better to be safe than take the risk, avoiding any potential liability issues should a miscarriage occur. After the first trimester, there are many benefits to receiving a massage. However, it is always best to check with your doctor before receiving a pregnancy massage.
