Bella Vida Medical Massage
offers a wide variety of massage services. Cassandra is highly trained in a variety of techniques including Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Scar Tissue Release Therapy, Lymphatic Restoration Technique, Treatment for symptoms of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD), Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, Therapeutic Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Hot Stone Massage. Medical Massage incorporates a variety of techniques to address specific conditions medically diagnosed by a physician. Techniques applied can range from Stretching, Cupping, Myofascial Release, and other modalities. This session will also include a full medical history, assessment, muscle testing and manual therapy. This session Does Not include a full body massage. Shorts and a fitted tank top/sports bra (for women) will be required for this session.
Clinical Massage- No doctors note required. Same approach as medical massage.
HSA- Can be used online and in person
FSA- Needs doctor approval with written notes from the doctor.
I do not file medical insurance but I can email a receipt for you to file for reimbursement.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. This service is for anyone who is feeling extremely tired, having fluid retention due to medication and post lipo/post surgical.
Post Cosmetic/Surgical Lymphatic Drainage is recommended within the first week after a surgical procedure to help decrease pain, swelling and fluid build up in your lymphatic system. Four to six sessions are recommended once a week until your 6 week follow up with your doctor.
With the Dolphin Neurostim, we can target the tissues below the skin and change the appearance, pliability and sensibility of the scar within one session! The Dolphin MPS sends direct micro-current (different from E-Stem) between the units which helps break up the scar tissue. You can expect to feel less pain in the area and other parts of your body, see a change in the appearance of the scar and have more freedom of movement. Up to two scars can be treated per session depending on the size of the scar. This session will include Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Scar tissue treatment, Cupping and manual therapy. TMD can cause a variety of symptoms ranging from the following: -Jaw pain -Headaches -Tooth grinding and/or jaw clenching -Popping/clicking in the jaw joint -Locked jaw -Aching or stiff neck/shoulders -Facial pain -Backaches -Earaches, ear congestion, ringing or pain associated with the ears -Vertigo (dizziness) -Undiagnosed tooth pain If you suffer from any of the above symptoms, you may benefit from this service.
Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed massage tables, cushions, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.

She evaluates you, listens to what your issues are and then she goes to work. She helps me recover from whatever muscle strain I have much faster. I saw Cassandra for my first lymphatic drainage massage yesterday and it was amazing!!!! I am on several medications that causes my body to swell. My legs and feet were so swollen that it was difficult to walk. I had never heard on a lymphatic drainage massage until my doctor recommended looking into it.
